Local Digital Conference and techUK Local Digital Capital Index (LCDI) Launch 2022

Join techUK for our Local Digital Conference and LDC Index publication. Looking at the tech sector’s role in Levelling Up, improving productivity, strengthening our regional economies, encouraging tech skills and building partnerships across the public, private and third sector to deliver for people, communities and our environment.

In 2021 techUK launched our first iteration of the Local Digital Capital Index in Birmingham. The Index provided a new econometric tool that enable the sector, policy makers, companies, government (local, regional and national) to look at the components that make up a strong local tech sector and ecosystem.

In Q4 techUK will publish the Local Digital Capital Index for 2022 alongside a panel discussion. The levelling up challenges and championing the UK's regional tech sectors and keynote speakers. We will look at the role technology can play in levelling up, the work being done by techUK members and partners, and look in more depth at how we improve the different components that make up digital capital including digital skills, digital infrastructure, digital adoption, trade support, innovation, supporting SMEs and financing.

Register now for this free virtual conference and join the discussion that supports investing in, developing and growing the UK's regional tech sector.
