Scottish Parliament Reception

In February 2026 techUK hosted our first Scottish Parliament Reception kindly sponsored by Leidos. techUK members were joined by Clare Adamson MSP, who kindly hosted the event, and Scottish Government Minister for Business, Richard Lochhead MSP.

In addition Leidos' Chief Executive for UK & Europe, Adam Clarke, addressed attendees and set out the opportunities for Scotland's tech sector, the digital ambition, the importance of focusing services on people and the need to replace legacy systems and use data better.

techUK wanted to share that speech with our members and network as the tech sector has an even more important role for our economy, services and society.
