Digital innovation is reshaping our world, and in response Governments are seeking to regulate to achieve societal objectives such as keeping citizens safe online, preserving privacy, tackling crime and improving competition. techUK works with its members to help inform and shape how Government approaches new regulation so that we can build a better society that continues to enable life changing digital innovation. Our current focus is on data protection, competition, online safety, and fraud.

Regulating AI and data is one of the central challenges in current tech policy. With constantly evolving technologies, techUK’s Digital Regulation Team support members with navigating this ever-changing policy landscape, providing resource, expertise and a forum for discussion.
