Digital Transformation in the Public Sector Week 2023 #techUKDigitalPS

Welcome to techUK's Digital Transformation in the Public Sector Week 2023. This week we will be exploring the technologies that can be deployed to support digital transformation in the public sector. #techUKDigitalPS

This week 24 – 28 April, the Central Government Programme will be running its Digital Transformation in the Public Sector Week to explore the role the tech industry is playing to support transformation in the public sector.

A different theme has been assigned to each day of the week, and we want to hear thoughts from both SMEs and large companies their visions for effective digital transformation of the public sector and the emerging technologies and innovations that will make it work. We will also explore the importance of collaboration between Government and Industry to create a digital government and increase efficiencies.

This is an opportunity for our members and stakeholders to look in-depth at the vital, innovative role they can play, and what the next leap in digital transformation in the public sector might look like.

Take a look at all the guest blogs and insights from members and stakeholders below:

The themes for the week are as follows:

Small but Mighty – Highlighting the innovative nature of SMEs and how transformative public services can be delivered with SME support.

Catalysts for change – What emerging technologies will be most important in accelerating digital transformation in the public sector?

Better Together – The importance of collaboration between Government and Industry

Navigating the DDaT Roadmap – How can industry help support the delivery of the cross-government roadmap for digital, data, and technology

Maximising Value – How the tech sector is helping the government to create lasting value in public services, through both direct projects and social value.
