During the final workshop in the events programme, we will take a high-level view of the topic and set out the next steps for techUK’s white paper.

We will explore the common threads of the previous topics focusing on:

  • Innovation: what are the easy wins for turning innovation into real commercial opportunity? Can the innovation in private networks influence the course of advanced connectivity itself?
  • Challenges: the topic of private networks is wide-ranging and complex—mirroring the complexity and variety of the networks themselves—what are some of the key barriers to the continuing growth of private networks for enterprise? What can we understand about the role of MNOs and the public sector? How do we secure and protect private networks, and what could regulation look like?
  • Opportunity: how is the private networks opportunity delivered in real-life commercial deployments? How can we turn rhetoric into action? How can all layers of industry, like SMEs, benefit from the innovation of private networks?

Attendance is for techUK members only. For more information on this project, please contact Sophie James
