NHS England core services supplier engagement series kick-off session: event round-up

On 20 May 2026, techUK and NHS England Core Services co-hosted the inaugural session of a new Supplier Engagement Series, attended by over 100 industry representatives.

The partnership establishes a structured channel for two-way dialogue between Core Services and the supplier community, moving beyond one-off touchpoints to sustained collaboration on shared delivery objectives.

Led by Deputy Director Zoe Donaldson and Jenna Hartley-Smith, with contributions from Director Shan Rahulan, and Heads of Product Tom Hubbard-Green and Myles Jarvis, the session set out Core Services' 2026–27 mission and priorities, focused on productivity, security, and enabling fast, safe, and secure patient data sharing. Speakers introduced the portfolio of 26+ products and APIs, including the National Care Record Service, National Record Locator, Clinical Data Gateway, Multicast Notification Service, and the new patient-facing blood pressure submission service in the NHS App.
