Expert Q&A on Nature and Biodiversity Considerations for the Tech Sector

On 9 April, techUK organised an expert Q&A session on nature and biodiversity considerations for the tech sector

During the webinar, techUK members heard from Edward Pollard, Director – Executive Engagement at the Biodiversity Consultancy as he explained the difference between nature and biodiversity, offered an overview of the risks present in tech value chains, and reviewed relevant regulatory requirements and reporting frameworks.

Members had the chance to interact with our speaker and ask questions about topics such as utilising technology for biodiversity monitoring, best procurement practices, strategies for accessing relevant data, and considerations for companies that do not own land.

Slides and recording can be found below:

techUK has a working group on biodiversity and nature-related reporting. To read more, please visit this page. To join and attend our upcoming meetings on 23 April and 25 June, please email Lucas Banach at [email protected].
