Event Round Up: Maximising your membership: Justice and Emergency Services Programme
On Tuesday, 16 September, techUK hosted a webinar showcasing the Justice and Emergency Services programme. The session provided a comprehensive overview of the programme’s structure, strategic priorities, and key areas of engagement across the policing, fire, and justice sectors. Members also gained valuable insights into upcoming opportunities to collaborate and contribute to shaping the future of public safety and justice through techUK’s initiatives.
The session served as an introduction for Dave Evans, the newly appointed Head of the Justice and Emergency Services programme, who shared his experience in policing and outlined his vision for the programme’s future. His leadership aims to strengthen collaboration across the sector and drive innovation in the programme services through member engagement and strategic initiatives.

Ella joined techUK in November 2023 as a Markets Team Assistant, supporting the Justice and Emergency Services, Central Government and Financial Services Programmes, before progressing into Junior Programme Manager in January 2024.
Before joining the team, she was working at the Magistrates' Courts in legal administration and graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2022. Ella attained an undergraduate degree in History and Politics, and a master's degree in International Relations and Security Studies, with a particular interest in studying asylum rights and gendered violence.
In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, watching true crime documentaries, travelling, and making her best attempts to become a better cook.

Fran serves as the Programme Team Assistant within techUK’s Public Sector Market Programmes, where she is responsible for delivering comprehensive team support, managing administrative functions, and fostering strong relationships with members.
Prior to joining techUK in May 2025, Fran built a meaningful career in the charitable and local government sectors. She worked extensively with both victims and perpetrators of crime, and notably led the coordination of Domestic Homicide Reviews across Surrey—an initiative aimed at identifying lessons and preventing future incidents of domestic abuse.
Outside of work, Fran is an avid traveller and a proud cat mum who enjoys unwinding with her feline companions.
