Solving policing's toughest challenges – Can your technology make the difference?

Call for contributions! Get involved in techUK's #PolicingProblemBookImpactDay2026

As part of our ongoing engagement with National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC) and the Office for the Police Chief Scientific Advisor (OPCSA), techUK is delighted to announce that on Wednesday 9 September, we will be running our Policing Problem Book Impact Day. This is your opportunity to respond directly to one of the 13 problem statements set out in the Policing Problem Book, and showcase how your organisation's technology, expertise, or innovation can help solve the challenges facing policing today.

We are inviting techUK members to submit thought-leadership pieces that speak to one or more of the problem statements so that these can be shared with NPCC and OPCSA ahead of this year's NPCC Innovation and Digital Summit 2026. From improving the capture and analysis of digital evidence, to building a digitally empowered and data-literate workforce, the Problem Book sets out where policing needs industry's help most. This is your chance to answer that call.
