Open for Nominations: Join the JES Programme’s VAWG and RASSO Working Group

This October, elections will be open for the VAWG and RASSO Working Group.

Are you passionate about ensuring that the potential of technology is leveraged to tackle and prevent cases of violence against women and girls and rape and serious sexual offences (VAWG and RASSO)?

Join our VAWG and RASSO Working Group to be amongst like-minded experts from across industry, third sector, academia and policing who are unified by their passion to support the Government’s mission to halve the number of cases of VAWG & RASSO.

The group utilises their connections and thought leadership to explore important topics such as online safety, CAID, victim support, IoT, as we strive to mitigate the gendered threats that are caused by existing and emerging technologies.

Any techUK members who want to make a positive impact in this space are encouraged to complete the nomination form.

The deadline to do so is Tuesday 30 September and voting will open 3 October.

You can see the timeline for the elections set out below:

  • 19 September - Nominations open for new Committee members
  • 30 September - Nominations close at 17:00
  • 3 October - Elections open (if we receive more nominations than places)
