The UK Government’s planned National Data Library (NDL) offers a major opportunity to make public sector data more accessible and therefore useful for innovation. What should the tech sector’s role be in order to make the institution as successful as possible? To develop techUK’s position, we are hosting a three-part workshop series on what industry thinks good delivery, access, and deployment of the NDL should look like. Read more about our “Unpacking the National Data Library” workshops here.

This first workshop will focus on delivery. It will explore what architecture, sandboxes, and models would ideally look like in a way that provides the “pipes,” tooling, and analytics most useful for industry. The discussion will also establish how early industry participation could potentially prove cost-efficient, accelerate timelines, and protect the long-term value of this national asset.

The session will be interactive, drawing on expertise from across our membership to frame how government and industry can best collaborate in the NDL’s development.

📅 Date and Time: 17 October @ 10:30-12:00 with networking time to follow

📍 Location: Hybrid
