techUK is pleased to announce the first-ever trade and policy delegation to Ottawa, Canada from 27 to 30 October 2025, offering members a valuable opportunity to engage directly with the Canadian Government, explore commercial opportunities, and build relationships with Canadian companies and stakeholders.

Why attend?

This delegation is designed to support UK tech businesses in better understanding the Canadian policy landscape and identifying new business and collaboration opportunities in one of the UK’s closest and most like-minded international partners. The visit will:

  • Provide direct engagement with key Canadian government departments and policymakers to understand Canada’s tech policy environment.
  • Offer insight into commercial opportunities and public procurement channels in Canada.
  • Facilitate B2B networking with innovative Canadian tech companies and ecosystems.

About TECH7

The 2025 TECH7 Summit presents a pivotal opportunity for leaders from across the G7 digital and tech sectors to engage directly with the Canadian G7 presidency. This year’s event will build on the momentum of the 2025 TECH7 Joint Declaration, which focused on advancing shared priorities across:

  • AI adoption
  • Quantum
  • Ethical frameworks and responsible innovation

As part of this high-profile engagement, techUK CEO Julian David will also be in attendance, representing UK industry interests and contributing to the Summit’s policy dialogue.

Delegates will have access to public-facing sessions, networking opportunities, and can benefit from the presence of key Canadian federal teams working to implement the G7 communiqué in collaboration with industry voices.
