techUK invites members to join our upcoming delegation to Strasbourg, France on 7-8 July during the European Parliament’s plenary week. This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and key stakeholders shaping the EU’s approach to technology and defence policy.

Against the backdrop of the evolving UK-EU relationship, this delegation will provide invaluable insights and access for UK businesses and policy teams navigating the EU landscape. The visit will offer a series of curated engagements with:

  • Members of the European Parliament from relevant committees and political groups

The agenda will deliver:

  • Strategic insight into the regulatory and political environment for technology and defence firms operating in or seeking to engage with the EU.
  • Direct dialogue with MEPs to discuss priorities, challenges, and opportunities in the EU tech and defence sectors.

This delegation is open to techUK member companies and is particularly suited for:

  • C-level executives (CEOs, Founders, Managing Directors)
  • Heads of policy, public affairs, or regulatory affairs
  • Companies with existing activity in the EU market or those looking to establish stronger ties

Key dates and logistics:

  • Delegation trip to start on 7 July Morning and end no later than 16:00 on 8 July
  • Delegates are responsible for their own travel and accommodation. techUK will organise the agenda, provide relevant briefings and materials, and coordinate on-the-ground logistics.

Participation Fee:

techUK members may register a delegate directly for £500.

Non-member companies should email [email protected] before booking a delegate for £750. please note that non-members that do not make prior contact will not be included in the delegation.

These contributions help cover the additional costs of running international delegations and supports techUK’s ability to deliver more overseas market access opportunities for members in future.

Please register your interest by either purchasing a ticket if you are a techUK member or by contacting [email protected] if you are a non-member before COB Monday 8 June 2026. Places are limited and will be reviewed to ensure a diverse and representative delegation.
