techUK delegation to US-UK SME Dialogue in Cardiff

The US-UK SME Dialogue brings together SMEs from both sides of the Atlantic to discuss support for trade, investment and partnership. The Dialogue is convened by the UK Department for Business and Trade, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Small Business Administration, which are US government departments and private agencies responsible for both promoting small business trade and advocating for the interests of small businesses in the United States.

This delegation builds on our recent delegation to Washington DC and is an opportunity to connect and create partnerships directly with US and UK policymakers, as well as SMEs shaping the future of technology and trade on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. It is also an opportunity to make any issues you face with trade over the Atlantic known to policy officials, and find partners for future trade across the pond.

With the UK and US looking to revive the Technology Prosperity Deal and engaging in discussions around the Economic Prosperity Deal covering digital trade, AI governance, and tech regulation, this will provide valuable context and access for UK tech businesses and policy teams navigating the US landscape and vice versa.
