This webinar will examine how digital technologies can improve modern slavery and human trafficking victim support. Even with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 there are still an estimated 100,000 people subject to modern slavery in the UK. Dealing with this issue requires a genuine multi-agency approach with local social services and charities delivering much of the care and support to victims with some of the most complex needs of any crime type, and there are a number of digital solutions that can make a difference. With government set to re-tender for victim support and with a review as part of a new modern slavery strategy this webinar looks at what solutions are being used and what else can be done.

Join this webinar to look at where digital tools can (and can not) make a big difference for the welfare of victims, overcome language difficulties and provide as frictionless experience as possible as victims interact with policing, social services, charities and health services. Expect to hear from front line services on their needs, a case study on how digital tools can make a difference and from victims rights organisations to make sure the individual is central to delivering support services.
