Investment in creative technology, often termed CreaTech, is one of the UK's most exciting high-growth frontiers, where creative skills and emerging technologies converge to produce new digital products, services, and experiences. With the UK targeting £31 billion in business investment in the sector by 2035, and significant momentum building across artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and immersive experiences, the opportunity is substantial. Since 2019, Arts Council England has invested over £4 million in creative practitioners developing AI-driven practice and the new skills to sustain it, signalling a broader shift in how public and private capital is beginning to recognise and back creative innovation.

Yet despite this momentum, the conversation between funders and creative professionals too often happens in parallel rather than together. This event is designed to change that.

The afternoon opens with a landscape overview of where investment in CreaTech currently sits, mapping the key players, funding mechanisms, and emerging opportunities across venture, public, and philanthropic capital.

The centrepiece is a series of reverse pitches: instead of founders pitching to investors, investors pitch to the room, setting out what they are actively looking to fund, what they find missing in the ecosystem, and what kinds of creative technology projects they wish would land on their desks.

Whether you are a creative professional exploring routes to funding, an organisation building tools for the creative industries, or an investor looking to sharpen your understanding of this space, this is a practical and candid afternoon designed to connect available capital with creative ambition and to help you identify the partners and opportunities best suited to your needs.
