As Wales enters a new political chapter following the 2026 Senedd elections, the first 100 days of the new Welsh Government will be critical for setting strategic direction across the health and care system.

techUK is pleased to partner with Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) to host an in person event in Cardiff exploring the opportunities for refreshed digital ambition across the Welsh NHS, including early signals from the new administration and the potential development of a 10 year vision for digital health and care in Wales.

Session overview

The session will bring together policymakers, NHS leaders and industry innovators to discuss:

  • Priorities emerging from the new Welsh Government
  • How Wales can take a long term strategic approach to digital transformation
  • Opportunities for industry collaboration and innovation
  • Strengthening infrastructure, data, digital skills and public trust
  • How DHCW and industry can work together to deliver sustainable, patient centred digital reform
