techUK is hosting monthly online collaboration sessions for telecoms providers undertaking compliance activities for the Telecoms Security Act (TSA).
These sessions create a trusted space for all PECN/PECS providers across all tiers to engage openly, share experiences, and work through challenges together.

Whether you’re looking for insights from peers, keen to share successful approaches, or hoping to pass on lessons learned, these sessions are designed to support collective understanding and strengthen security practices across the sector.

All sessions will operate under TLP:AMBER, and participation is open to all providers—you do not need to be a techUK member to attend.

About the Telecoms Security Act

The Telecoms Security Act 2021 introduced a strengthened security framework for public telecommunications providers, coming into force on 1 October 2022. The framework comprises three key layers:

  1. The Act – Amends the Electronic Communications Act 2003, placing enhanced security duties on providers and giving government powers to designate high-risk vendors and impose controls on their use.

  1. Security Regulations (2022) – Define mandatory security measures for all new in-scope networks and services from 1 October 2022.

  1. Code of Practice (2022) – Provides detailed technical guidance to support compliance with both the Act and the Regulations, effective from 1 December 2022.

Our 2026 meetings are also likely to discuss the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill, as introduced to Parliament in November 2025, and the ongoing standardisation of Privileged Access Workstations (PAWs).
