techUK and Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) are organising a joint roundtable to explore the use of Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) Common Data Model (CDM) for Secure Data Environments . This is an open community data standard, designed to standardise the structure and content of observational data and to enable efficient analyses that can produce reliable evidence.
This roundtable will explore:
- Challenges and progress with the adoption of OMOP thus far
- Current challenges enabling large scale research
- How we can ease the adoption of OMOP going forward and encourage use across Secure Data Environments (SDEs)
- How to get the right incentives in place
- The role of system suppliers in transformation of data to OMOP at source
This event will be best suited to colleagues with some technical expertise.
Only one representative per company will be able to attend.
