techUK is offering the chance for members and select non-members to join a techUK delegation to Lviv, Ukraine for the IT Arena tech conference as well as meetings with the Ukrainian Government and Ukrainian tech companies. The delegation will take place between September 24-28, with the tech conference taking place on 25-27 September.

IT Arena is Ukraine’s biggest tech conference which covers several technology verticals including defence-technology. The Conference is attended by 7,500 visitors from 40+ countries and has 100+ speakers across an array of panels.

Alongside IT Arena, techUK will be aiming to hold meetings at a senior and/or ministerial level with Ukrainian officials from:

  • The Ministry for Digital Transformation
  • The Ministry of Defence
  • The British Embassy in Ukraine
  • IT Ukraine Association
  • Diia City United
  • The Mayor of Lviv & Lviv City Council
  • Other Government, Private Sector, and Third-Sector stakeholders as requested

Last year, techUK organised the same delegation to IT Arena where we met the then Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Federov. The trip led to commercial outcomes for several delegates. Read more about it here.

Cost

The price of this delegation is £500 for members and £750 for non-members plus the price of ticket for IT Arena, transport between Poland and Ukraine and the hotels. This does not include a plane ticket to Rszesow, Poland where we will formally disembark together into Ukraine.

The approximate cost of hotels, transport, and tickets for IT Arena was around £600-700 per person. Once we have had around 8-10+ Expressions of Interest, we will confirm the pricing of the cost of hotels, transport and tickets. For now, please anticipate that the total cost of the delegation would be around £1,100 – £1,350.

If you are interested in joining the techUK delegation to Ukraine, fill out this expression of interest form or email [email protected].
