This session will offer attendees the opportunity to hear directly from senior Home Office leaders about the direction of travel for Home Office Digital and how the department plans to deliver against its strategic objectives in the months and years ahead. Speakers will set out the wider departmental context, explain how Home Office Digital priorities align with the department's broader mission, and provide clarity on the outcomes being worked towards.

Supplier engagement

A central focus of the session will be the Home Office's evolving relationship with the supplier community. Leaders will outline their approach to engagement, the principles that will underpin how the department works in partnership with suppliers, and the opportunities anticipated over the coming period.

Attendees will gain a clearer picture of commercial expectations, the standards the Home Office holds itself and its partners to, and how it plans to build a more collaborative, transparent, and outcome-focused ecosystem.

Commercial and financial perspectives

Colleagues from the Home Office's commercial and finance teams will share their perspectives, including insights into procurement pipelines, value-for-money considerations, and the financial landscape shaping departmental decisions.

Their contributions will help suppliers understand not only what the Home Office is buying, but how and why.

Data, artificial intelligence and design

The session will also explore the department's approach to three areas that are increasingly central to delivering modern public services: data, artificial intelligence, and design.

This will include how the Home Office is harnessing data responsibly to inform better decisions, where AI is seen as adding genuine value, and how user-centred design continues to sit at the heart of everything the department builds.

Questions and discussion

The session will conclude with time for questions and discussion, giving attendees the chance to engage directly with the Home Office leadership team.
