We are delighted to be hosting the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) for two market engagement sessions to discuss the upcoming reopening of the Transport Technology (RM6347) open framework.

This critical agreement provides public sector organisations with technology products and services across the rail, road, maritime, and aviation sectors. These sessions aim to identify supplier interest and help industry partners prepare for the next phase of the framework.

Session dates

  • Session 1 (online only): Thursday 30 July 2026
  • Session 2 (in person only): Monday 21 September 2026

Who should attend

These sessions are targeted at prospective new suppliers and existing suppliers looking to expand their offerings:

  • Existing suppliers: if you are already on the RM6347 framework but are interested in applying for an additional lot.
  • New suppliers: if you are not currently on the framework but would like information on the agreement and the application process for the upcoming reopening.

Framework timeline and context

  • Current phase: the first scheme (phase) in this agreement is scheduled to run up to 22 October 2027.
  • Next phase: it is anticipated that new suppliers will be able to apply to join the second scheme (running consecutively without a gap) when the Invitation to Tender (ITT) is published in early 2027. Timing and further details will be published late summer/autumn 2026.

Attending these market engagement sessions is an excellent opportunity to understand the application process, explore the lots, and ask direct questions to the GCA team before the ITT goes live.

Key resources

To prepare for the sessions, you can review the current state of the framework and its historical notice details here:

  • Current framework details: view active lots and existing suppliers on the GCA RM6347 Framework Page.
  • Original Find a Tender notice: access the original publication, including specific durations for each framework term, at the Find a Tender Service.

How to book

If you're interested, make sure to book your place. You only need to book on to one session.

If you have any questions ahead of the sessions, or if you cannot make these dates but want to stay informed, please contact the GCA team directly at [email protected]

The session will not be recorded but the slides and Q&A session will be available after the event.

We look forward to seeing you there and collaborating on the future of UK transport technology.

Note: Crown Commercial Service became the Government Commercial Agency on 1 April 2026.
