Following on from our internal discussions in late 2025, techUK is pleased to invite members to an interactive, members-only roundtable with the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) on digital sovereignty.

This session will offer a valuable opportunity to engage directly with DSIT officials, test ideas, and help shape thinking on how the UK approaches digital sovereignty in an increasingly complex global digital landscape. Designed as a discussion-led roundtable, members are encouraged to share practical insights, challenges, and policy priorities from across the sector.

The roundtable will take place from 1:00–2:00pm on Tuesday 20 January at the techUK offices. A light lunch will be provided. An online option will be available for those unable to attend in person, although in-person participation is strongly encouraged to enable a more open and candid exchange.

The discussion will be held under the Chatham House rule.
