Following the success of techUK’s delegation to the 2025 G7 in Ottawa, we are delighted to announce we will be repeating the delegation to Canada’s capital city from 22-24 September 2026.

The delegation is a fantastic opportunity for techUK members to engage directly with the Canadian Government, explore commercial opportunities, and build relationships with Canadian companies and stakeholders. The visit will:

  • Provide direct engagement with key Canadian government departments and policymakers to understand Canada’s tech policy environment.
  • Offer insight into commercial opportunities and public procurement channels in Canada.
  • Facilitate B2B networking with innovative Canadian tech companies and ecosystems.
  • Support UK tech businesses in better understanding the Canadian policy landscape and identifying new business and collaboration opportunities in one of the UK’s closest and most like-minded international partners.

A more exact itinerary will be published nearer the date. You can find a summary of last year’s delegation on our website.

This delegation is open to all techUK member companies and is particularly suited for:

  • C-level executives (CEOs, Founders, Managing Directors)
  • Heads of sales and business development
  • Heads of policy
  • Companies with an existing presence in Canada or concrete plans to expand into the market

Key dates and logistics

We are only able to accommodate one representative per member company.

  • Arrival in Ottawa: Monday 21 September
  • Delegation programme: Tuesday 22 September – Thursday 24 September

Delegates are responsible for their own travel and accommodation.

techUK will organise the official agenda, provide briefings and materials, and coordinate on-the-ground logistics throughout the programme

Participation fee:

techUK members may register a delegate directly for £500.

Non-member companies should email [email protected] before booking a delegate for £750. Please note that non-members that do not make prior contact will not be included in the delegation.

These contributions help cover the additional costs of running international delegations and supports techUK’s ability to deliver more overseas market access opportunities for members in future.

Please register your interest by either purchasing a ticket if you are a techUK member or by contacting [email protected] if you are a non-member. Places are limited and will be reviewed to ensure a diverse and representative delegation.
