Call for Contributions: Digital Assets and Tokenization for the future stack

techUK is bringing members together to explore what it will take to move digital assets and tokenisation from pilots to production, with a Focus Series examining the technologies and challenges shaping the future stack.

The series will look beyond the potential of tokenisation to the practical challenges involved in scaling it. This includes settlement and market infrastructure, from delivery versus payment to central bank money settlement and collateral; the recovery of stolen tokens; interoperability between new ledgers and existing systems; identity and compliance, including digital identity, KYC, AML and RegTech; and data and privacy, including zero-knowledge proofs, confidential computing and secure-by-design approaches.

We want to hear from our members about the technology, expertise and innovation they are developing to address these challenges. This is an opportunity to showcase how your organisation is helping solve real-world barriers to scaling tokenisation, with contributions captured in a shared bank of member use cases and potentially featured on the techUK website through blogs and/or vlogs.

As part of this work, techUK will be running an Impact Week during the week commencing 23 November, highlighting how our members can help ensure the UK remains at the forefront of tokenisation. We are particularly keen to hear from SME members and members connected to the Financial Services programme, especially those involved in the Digital Assets and Blockchain Working Group.

If your organisation has a technology, use case or perspective to contribute, please get involved and help demonstrate what it will take to make tokenisation work at scale.
