Call for blogs: Digital Transformation in the Public Sector Week 2025 #techUKdigitalPS

From Monday 30 June to Friday 4 July techUK’s Central Government programme will be running our annual Digital Transformation in the Public Sector Week. #techUKDigitalPS

With the recent publication of the AI Opportunities Action Plan and the Blueprint for Modern Digital Government, digital transformation in the public sector has been as important as ever. This week will explore the role techUK members play in supporting a digitally enabled government.

A different theme has been assigned to each day of the week, and we want to hear thoughts from both SMEs and large companies on their visions for effective digital transformation of the public sector.

The themes for the week are listed below:

Well connected public sector services

How can industry enable next generation public services and ensure public services are consistently high standard, acting as one public sector, transforming government for the digital era.

The power of AI in the public sector

How can industry support government to implement AI effectively and capitalise on the pilot, scale, approach to fast track the power of AI and maximise the opportunities presented by AI adoption.

Strengthening digital and data

How can industry support government in strengthening and extending digital and data public infrastructure, enabling better access to data and strengthening cyber and technical resilience.

Small but mighty

How are SMEs driving innovation and transformation in public services

Overcoming legacy IT

How can industry support government in overcoming Legacy IT challenges to increase efficiency and take advantage of emerging technologies.
