The security of operational technology (OT) systems across the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure (sponsored by Vysiion)
9am – 12pm25 March 2026
Join techUK and Vysiion on 25 March for a roundtable discussion on the security of operational technology (OT) across the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure (CNI).
The day-to-day operation of the UK’s CNI is vital to our national security and economy stability. As cyber attackers and criminal groups seek to disrupt essential services for political or financial gain, the potential disruption caused by compromised OT systems mean they have become increasingly vulnerable to attacks. At the same time, securing these environments remains complex, with challenges ranging from legacy technologies and limited built-in security to skills shortages and the growing convergence of IT and OT networks.
This roundtable will explore the common themes driving OT vulnerabilities across CNI sectors. Attendees will discuss the business risk posed by legacy OT, the ongoing skills debate, supply chain visibility and the balance between security, safety and availability.
Spaces are limited, so please register to express your interest in attending this event. Please note: submitting your interest does not guarantee a place. If your attendance is approved, you will receive a confirmation email with the joining details.
