New ‘Digital Specialists & Programmes’ framework for the public sector

Government publishes intention to implement a new agreement to provide public sector organisations with DDaT roles and end-to-end digital transformation programmes.

Crown Commercial Service has published a Prior Information Notice about its intention to put in place a Pan Government Collaborative Agreement for the provision of Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) roles and end-to-end digital transformation programmes.

This new framework – Digital Specialists & Programmes (RM6263) – will be utilised by Central Government Departments, as well as all other public sector bodies including local authorities, health, police, fire and rescue, education and the devolved administrations, to find a full range of DDaT skills.

The agreement offers a quality assured route which will provide larger digital transformation and larger capability programmes; as well as a route to market for strategic objectives or scope of services with no clearly defined outcomes/deliverables that will enable digital transformation.

The approach-to-market date is 21 October and the lotting structure of the framework will be:

  • Lot 1 – Digital Programmes
  • Lot 2 – Digital Specialists

Digital Specialists and Programmes will run alongside Digital Outcomes 6 (RM1043.8) and together they will replace the Digital Outcomes & Specialists 5 agreement.
