Human Machine Learning and uncrewed systems – Request for Information from USSOCOM

US Special Operations Command invites companies to submit technologies relating to Human Machine Learning and uncrewed systems, aimed at addressing a range of innovation challenges.

Successful applicants will participate in a technology experimentation event, demonstrating how their work supports and enhances US Special Operations Forces’ capability requirements, engaging directly with end-users.

The areas of interest include:

  • Multi-Modal, Multi Domain Unmanned Systems and capabilities
  • Heterogeneous teaming and UAS Swarming capabilities
  • Autonomous operations for GPS-denied environments
  • FPV UxS
  • Data Transport
  • Voice and Data Processing
  • Unmanned Aerial/Ground capabilities
  • High Altitude platforms

Applications are to be submitted via the Vulcan technology scouting platform. The deadline for submissions is 26 May 2025.

Jeremy manages techUK's defence programme, helping the UK's defence technology sector align itself with the Ministry of Defence - including Defence Digital, DE&S, innovation units and Frontline Commands - through a broad range of activities including private briefings and early market engagement events. It also supports the MOD as it procures new digital technologies.

Prior to joining techUK, from 2016-2024 Jeremy was International Security Programme Manager at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) coordinating research and impact activities for funders including the FCDO and US Department of Defense, as well as business development and strategy.

Jeremy has a MA in International Relations from the University of Birmingham and a BA (Hons) in Politics & Social Policy from Swansea University.
