11 March 2024

London

8.45am – 5.30pm

Conference

Ahead of an expected General Election techUK ran the third in our series of policy leadership conferences titled, How can the next Government use technology to build a better Britain?

The conference tackled head on the big questions that our political leaders would face as they plan for the next Government. Including the opportunities and risks presented by AI in the decade ahead, the impact of deepfakes and disinformation on elections, whether the UK needs an industrial strategy for tech and the UK’s role in an ever more uncertain global environment.

The conference also featured addresses from the Labour and Conservative Partys and the publication of industry research on the priorities the next Government should be thinking about to secure the future of the UK tech sector.

Thank you for everyone who joined us on 11 March which was an excellent day of discussion and a primer for the tech sector ahead of the General Election.
