techUK’s Local Public Services and Nations & Regions programme will be partnering with Tussell to launch a new series of regional market insight briefings for members. Each briefing will put the spotlight on a specific region. Our first event in this new series focuses on the West Midlands. Members will gain essential insights into the latest trends and opportunities for the region. Everything from the size of the market to who the biggest buyers in the region are to the frameworks they use.

As well as gaining key insights from Tussell on the tech spend and trends for the region, members will hear from Raj Mack, Head of Digital Birmingham, who is at the forefront of leading the city’s digital and smart cities development. It is an opportunity for industry to be better informed of the digital vision for Birmingham as well as an introduction to the local government sector.

What will the sessions cover?

  • How big is the market and the regional spend?
  • Who are the biggest buyers and suppliers in the region?
  • What the biggest contracts awarded and due to expire are?
  • The most used procurement frameworks?

Who are the sessions for?

The briefings will provide techUK members active or looking to break into the local public services and wider public sector market with a better understanding of the current landscape, latest tech and procurement trends for the West Midlands region.
