The One Digital programme from NHS England is seeking to develop a new operating environment, where national and local NHS teams, providers and industry come together in a different way to solve some of the biggest problems in health and care.

At the heart of this will be a new partnership approach, to co-create future digital capabilities and the underpinning architecture for holistic service transformation, and to agree common principles, standards and priorities that align with national and local interests.

Session overview

techUK is pleased to partner with NHS England to host an in-person event for senior industry representatives to hear about this direction and help shape how we will work together to deliver this transformation.

The day will introduce One Digital, its intended outcomes and what it could mean for suppliers. It will cover priority areas the NHS will be trialling this approach with, including Single Patient Record and the use of AI, with discussion on how emerging thinking around the partnership approach could support these priorities, reflecting three key themes:

  • Co-development: how NHS organisations and industry can work and make decisions together
  • Funding for change: how investment and incentives can be better aligned to support delivery
  • Implementation: how priorities and roadmaps can be harmonised to realise value faster

This is intended to be the start of a conversation, with future engagement and working groups bringing together stakeholders to co-design the partnership functions and operating model and put the theory into practice.

Who should attend

This event is open to techUK members, but space is limited and priority will be given to senior representatives (C-suite) from health tech suppliers, restricted to one representative per organisation. We will be operating an automatic waiting list and will confirm attendance via email. For more information, please contact [email protected].
