Jack Raynor

Co-Chair Open Converged Wireless Project Group , Telecom Infra Project

Jack Raynor is the Co-Chair of the Telecom Infra Project's Open Converged Wireless Project Group.  As Co-Chair, he leads the OpenWiFi initiative, an open-source architecture that enables multi-vendor, interoperable Wi-Fi networks to accelerate Wi-Fi infrastructure innovation. He leads the Program Group and global ecosystem that creates feature-rich, cost-effective communications solutions globally and directs the growth and demand for open, disaggregated networks for the Enterprise Wi-Fi industry. In addition, he’s driving adoption of the TIP OpenWiFi software and solutions, advancing the Program Group’s community participation and collaboration, and working with ecosystem members including MSPs, ODMs, OEMs, and Silicon Providers, among others, to drive open-source Wi-Fi market success. He also serves as the leader of TIP OpenWiFi at Meta. 

Throughout his twenty-plus year career, Jack has been building and growing healthy teams which drive new product innovation and software solutions for Fortune 500 companies including Commscope (NASQ: COMM), ARRIS (acquired by Commscope), Motorola, and Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA). He has led teams in the development, implementation and execution of products and software, some of which have become industry standards. 

Jack is an experienced speaker, including at industry conferences including SCTE, the Linux Foundation, and the TMForum. Jack holds a Bachelorsof Science from Temple University in Computer and Information Science.   

Huw Rees

VP of Business Development, NetExperience

Huw Rees is the VP of Business Development at NetExperience. Prior to NetExperience, he was an investor and business development advisor for KodaCloud, Inc., a VC backed Wi-Fi as a Service company using artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize wireless networks. Prior to KodaCloud, Rees held several senior leadership roles at 8×8, Inc., including Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Sales & Marketing and CEO of Centile, Inc., a subsidiary of 8×8. As an officer and senior member of the 8×8 management team for 16 years, Rees was responsible for the execution of the company’s shift to a Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) business. Rees holds three patents in the cloud PBX and UCaaS technology field. Rees received a B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of Manchester (England), Institute of Science and Technology in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and has an MBA from the University of LaVerne (USA).
