10 December 2020 10am – 5pm Conference Online

On 10 December Lt Gen Richard Wardlaw will be launching his Defence Support Strategy

With the advent of the Defence Support Operating Model, (DSOM), in April 2020 and the appointment of Lt Gen Richard Wardlaw as Chief of Defence Logistics and Support, (CDLS), UK Defence has a new functional owner for Support. This fundamentally changes and elevates the management of all aspects of logistics management and support engineering under one strategic leader.

Since his appointment CDLS has been busy consulting widely on what the future of Defence Support should look like and he is now ready to share his strategic vision with Industry.

We are, therefore, delighted to be able to invite you to a virtual event to launch the Defence Support Strategy on the 10th of December. The event will be cohosted by MOD Strategic Command, techUK and Team Defence Information.

In addition to Lt Gen Wardlaw there will be a number of speakers from industry and other parts of the MOD giving different perspectives on the strategy. We can already confirm that Dr Jon Hall from Babcock International, Steve Rigsby the MD of Allan Webb and Paul Hudson from Fujitsu will be speaking. Other speakers will be confirmed in the coming weeks. There will be ample opportunities to raise questions and have them answered by the speakers.
