The President of Andorra Business and Minister for Presidency, Economy and Enterprise of the Government of Andorra, H.E. Andorra Business, the country’s investment promotion agency, will host an executive briefing for UK companies to promote Andorra as a great place to do business, trade and invest. This session, chaired by the Minister for Economy, is an opportunity to gain an understanding of the major innovation trends across the ESG/smart city, fintech, health and sports economy sectors as well as to hear how companies can achieve growth in the market through a high quality of living for their staff. 

The event will showcase two of the country’s major sectors - fintech and sports. The opportunities range from cycling, ski-ing, hiking and other terrain sports through to e-sports and sports-tech. Andorra's aim is to become a leading hub for innovation in the sector with projects looking at the impact of climate change on snow sports or the Casa de la Muntanya living lab. Andorra is also home to Microsoft’s Global Sports Innovation Centre. In the fintech space, all things blockchain related including cryptocurrencies and e-sports trading are seeing huge demand with country developing a new regulatory framework for blockchain technology that it hopes will open the door to the regulation of cryptocurrencies worldwide and attract foreign investors with these tech innovations locally.
