techUK, in collaboration with the Catapult Network, invites you to discuss the findings of a recent study into Energy Efficient Networks.

This study involved detailed consultations with senior stakeholders from the telecoms industry, academia and regulatory bodies working with techUK and the following Catapults: Connected Places, Compound Semiconductor Applications, Digital, Energy Systems and Satellite Applications.

Addressing both the long-term ambition of a Net Zero economy and the shorter-term challenge of unprecedented energy costs, the study investigated ways to optimise energy efficiency using a combination of novel architectures and new technologies. Our analysis was tested via a series of ‘real world’ use cases.

During the event, we will publish highlights of a white paper for discussion by a panel of experts from the sector.

We will be joined by senior representatives from the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) Taiwan, as part of a Taiwan-UK delegation looking to foster closer links on telecoms and Net Zero.

Join this special industry event to understand the key recommendations the Catapult project has determined, and network with the telecoms ecosystem to discuss the best way forward for energy-efficient networks. We look forward to your attendance and contribution to the discussion
