AI capabilities are advancing at an extraordinary pace, and will play an increasing important role in boosting economic growth, providing jobs for the future, and improving people’s everyday lives. However, uncertainty on how to deploy AI responsibly is a barrier to adoption for many firms, particularly for SMEs.

To support widespread responsible AI adoption, DSIT conducted a public consultation on the ‘AI Management Essentials’ tool earlier this year. The draft tool was designed to provide an open access, simplified baseline of requirements for responsible and trustworthy AI development and deployment.

In this half-day workshop, DSIT will present and discuss feedback from the AIME consultation responses, followed by an interactive session where participants will engage with and provide feedback on revisions to the tool, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that is its fit for purpose and meets the needs of startups and SMEs.

Please express your interest in attending to [email protected] before COP Friday 29 August.
