techUK members are committed to tackling online fraud, one of the fastest-growing and most damaging crimes in the UK. techUK members have been developing innovative solutions to support regulators and industry address fraud, through the deployment of AI, machine learning, digital identity and cyber security solutions.
Our approach is rooted in collaboration - we convene technology companies, policymakers, law enforcement, and civil society to share expertise, identify emerging threats, and promote best practice. By amplifying the voice of our diverse membership, we ensure that fraud prevention strategies are informed by real-world experience and designed to deliver measurable results.
Building on this work, techUK will continue to lead the conversation on fraud in 2025 and beyond — including the publication of a major report this year capturing member insights and setting out clear recommendations for action.

Get Involved With Our Work
techUK’s work on online fraud regulation is coordinated partly through our Digital Regulation Group, which serves as a forum for engaging with our members on the issue. Through this group, we share updates on fraud-related developments, facilitate discussions on consultations and calls for evidence, and collaboratively shape industry responses. It’s also a space for members to exchange insights, raise concerns, and contribute ideas to help inform techUK’s wider policy work on tackling online fraud.
