Competition

Competitive markets are essential for innovation and growth. As the CMA work to implement the new digital markets regime, techUK’s Digital Regulation Team provide a vehicle for members to engage with the competition regulator across the breadth of issues they cover.

techUK champions a competitive digital economy that supports innovation, drives growth, and delivers benefits for consumers and businesses alike. We work with our members to engage closely with policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure that competition policy remains evidence-led and keeps pace with fast-changing markets and emerging technologies.

We are members of the CMA’s Growth & Investment Council, where we support the CMA’s implementation of their 4 P’s model, providing member feedback on their behalf regarding how the CMA operates and engages with industry.

We advocate for a regime that keeps the UK globally competitive and an attractive place for investment at the forefront of the global digital economy.
