In conversation with London CDO, Theo Blackwell MBE

On 25 November techUK was delighted to host London’s first Chief Digital Officer, Theo Blackwell MBE to hear the latest plans and vision for the future of London’s digital and data ecosystem.

Theo covered everything from London’s recovery plan to the future of London’s Datastore. You can catch-up on the session that our Head of Local Public Services, Georgina Maratheftis hosted:

Theo also highlighted the Emerging Tech Charter for London, which aims to etablish common, open and trusted ways of working between innovators, public services and Londoners when trialing and deploying new technologies. The first draft of the Charter was published in early December 2020 and techUK is delighted to invite members to a workshop in January 2021 with the Greater London Authority to explore the principles and whether they are fit for purpose.
