techUK is pleased to host a Lunch and Learn session on the newly published NHS England SME Playbook, designed to help small and medium-sized innovators understand how to work more effectively with the NHS.

This will be an informal session, so please do bring your lunch or a cup of tea whilst you listen!

Developed by the NHS England SME Advisory Group, the Playbook provides practical guidance on procurement routes, compliance expectations, real-world evidence, segmentation, and how to engage the right decision-makers across the system.

SMEs play a crucial role in delivering innovation to health and care, and this session will offer insight from two SME leaders who helped shape the Playbook: Sally Rennison and Will Goddard. We also hope to be joined by Helen Fisher & Paul Richards from NHS England, to outline the strategic intent behind the Playbook and its alignment with wider procurement reforms/how the Playbook will support SMEs across the health and care sector.

Why attend?

  • Get a clear overview of the new SME Playbook
  • Understand NHS buying structures and procurement expectations
  • Learn how to build stronger relationships and evidence strategies
  • Hear directly from contributors to the Playbook

This session supports techUK’s wider work to champion SMEs, including the SME Evidence Pack and upcoming activities across our Health and Social Care Programme. For more information please email [email protected].
