techUK will host our third annual Cyber Innovation Den on 17 June. For the second year the conference will be held virtually. We are delighted to confirm that one of the conference keynotes will be delivered by Matt Warman MP, Minister for Digital Infrastructure. This year the conference sessions will explore how the UK cyber security sector can build on the success achieved over the last decade. Looking towards the next iteration of the National Cyber Security Strategy, speakers will review the success we have seen to date, including the foundation of the National Cyber Security Centre, rapid growth in the value of the sector to the UK economy and growing exports revenue as well as identifying areas where we need to do more, such as regional development, skills and diversity.
The event will once again feature our Cyber Innovation Pitching Competition. The competition will highlight the pioneering work that is present within the cyber security sector. Hear from cyber start-ups about the latest R&D emerging from the cyber security sector, as the brightest companies in the country pitch their product or service to a panel of expert judges, with the winner named techUK's Cyber Innovator 2021.
