Julian David OBE

CEO, techUK

Julian David is the CEO of techUK, the leading technology trade association that aims to realise the positive outcomes that digital technology can achieve for People, Society, the Economy and the Planet.

He leads techUK’s 100+ strong team representing 1,100+ British based tech companies, comprising global and national champions and more than 600 SMEs and ScaleUP companies. techUK is the voice of the tech industry in the UK with 21 member led programmes covering all of tech from ‘Chips to Clicks’ and addressing 11 market sectors from Defence and Central Government, through to Health, Consumer Electronics and Financial Services.

In 2021 techUK launched TechSkills, the employer-led accreditation organisation that aims to improve the flow of talent into the digital workforce and open up access for all to high value tech jobs.

Julian represents techUK on a number of external bodies including the Digital Economy Council, the National Cyber Security Advisory Council and the Department of Business and Trade’s Strategic Trade Advisory Group. He is member of the NTA Advisory Board of DIGITALEUROPE and is a member of the Board of the Health Innovation Network the South London Academic Health Science Network.

Julian has over thirty years of experience in the technology industry. Prior to joining techUK, he had a series of leadership roles at IBM including Vice President for Small and Medium Business and Public Sector. After leaving IBM he worked as a consultant helping tech SMEs establish successful operations in the U.K. His personal interests include Football (West Ham, Balham FC and Real Madrid) and Art.

Mark Hindle

UK&I Managing Director, Tunstall

Mark joined Tunstall in March 2025 having held senior roles in startups and growing businesses within larger organisations, most recently at Orion Health and Evergreen Life. Throughout his career, he has focused on leading change and delivering solutions that make a real difference to people’s lives. He brings a practical, hands-on leadership style, guided by strong values: honesty, integrity, building great teams, delivering on promises and continuous learning.

He has led major digital health programmes in the UK and internationally, introducing new solutions into overseas markets, delivering national EPR projects,

and leading improvements in patient flow, workforce management and the use of data. He also supported the development of health records, shared care records and population health platforms across the UK and Ireland.

Mark is passionate about improving outcomes for individuals, communities and health and care systems. He focuses on delivering measurable impact, helping people stay safe and independent and reducing avoidable pressure on services. Through his Independent Living as a Service (ILaaS) initiative, he is bringing together technology, housing and community support to achieve better outcomes and more sustainable models of care for all.

Isaac Samuels OBE

Co-chair of the National Co-production Advisory Group (NCAG), and the Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) Board

Isaac Samuels is a passionate and dedicated community campaigner and co-production advisor. Isaac brings a wealth of knowledge and 25 years of both lived and learned experiences to the table. Their extensive background in supporting marginalized communities has equipped them with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and needs faced by these groups. They believe in the transformative power of narratives and are driven by the potential of storytelling as a catalyst for social change.

Dr Michael Watts

Co-Founder and CEO, Blüm Health Ltd

Michael is the Young Health Tech Leader of the Year 2024, an NHS doctor, NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellow and MBA Graduate by background. Over the last few years he has been the Co-founder and Managing director of Blüm Health Ltd, an industry-disrupting digital health organisation that collaboratively works with NHS trusts, Universities and SMEs to design, build, and scale digital health software solutions, in the hope to empower public and private sector organisations to boost their digital maturity and unlock their innovative potential. Michael has extensive experience in supporting NHS organisations design, build and procure digital health ecosystems and understands the importance of digital inclusivity from a patient, workforce and organisational perspective.

Kate Doodson

Chief Transformation, Performance and Digital Officer, Brandon Trust

Kate Doodson is a recognised leader in digital transformation, innovation and strategic performance. As the Chief Transformation, Performance and Digital Officer at Brandon Trust, she is pioneering how charities can harness technology - including automation and AI to reimagine their systems, processes and outcomes. Her work is driving real-world improvements in service delivery and organisational performance across the social care sector.

Before joining Brandon Trust in early 2024, Kate spent nearly 15 years at the helm of Cosmic UK, where she gained local acclaim as “Cosmic Kate”. As Joint Chief Executive, she played a pivotal role in positioning the social enterprise as a powerhouse in digital training, cloud adoption, and public sector consultancy throughout the South West. She has decades of experience spanning civil engineering, digital strategy, technical delivery, and change leadership.

Kate’s broader influence includes serving as Vice Chair at South Devon College, a Board Member at Plymouth Marjon University, and an active participant in Tech South West and the South West Cyber Security Cluster. She is also a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS) - a prestigious recognition of her exceptional contributions to the IT and computing profession.

Tommy Henderson-Reay

Implementation Programme Manager, DHSC

A registered social worker, Tommy has worked in social care both locally and nationally. Having started his career as social worker in adult social services he worked across a number of different settings with adult social care. He went on to complete an informatics fellowship at NHS Digital and subsequently worked for the not-for-profit care provider trade body, National Care Forum. He now leads a number of programmes within the Digitising Social Care programme across DHSC and NHS England.

Tommy’s main focused remains on ensuring that people and those who work in care have the skills they need to engage with technology and are supported to think critically about how we use technology now and in the future. He is a council member of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics, social care lead for the BCS, member of the British Association of Social Workers, and a trustee of youth engagement charity, Grow UK, in Sheffield.

Nerys Hebdon

Head of Customer Enablement, TEC, Access HSC

Nerys Hebdon is Head of Customer Enablement, TEC, at Access HSC, with extensive experience working with local authorities to drive culture change, enhance residents’ experiences, and deliver meaningful benefits through digital transformation. She is passionate about co-designing services locally to shift from reactive to preventative and achieve lasting impact.

Dr Thomas Dodd

Director of Strategic Engagement, Tunstall

Tom is an experienced digital health and care leader, with a strong track record in strategy, change management and programme delivery across public and private sectors. He specialises in harnessing data and digital innovation to enable outcome-based commissioning and more proactive, preventative models of care.

Tom has held senior roles across health, housing and care organisations, working in close partnership with local authorities, the NHS and independent providers to improve performance, sustainability and service quality.

He is passionate about developing predictive approaches that reduce crises and strengthen early intervention. Alongside his executive roles, Tom also serves in non-executive board positions within the housing and care sector, contributing to governance, strategic direction and organisational resilience.

Professor Vic Rayner OBE

CEO, National Care Forum

Professor Vic Rayner OBE is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Care Forum, joining the organisation in 2016.

She chairs the National Social Care Advisory Group on social care and technology and has been at the forefront of promoting digital transformation across care. She sits on a range of government and national specialist groups with a focus on the social care workforce, digital transformation, new models of care and regulation. She also sits on the House of Commons Health and Social Care Committee’s Expert Panel and is the former chair of the working group of the APPG on adult social care. In addition she is the outgoing chair of the government national workforce advisory group.

Vic is a regular national and international speaker and has extensive knowledge and expertise across a wide range of care, support, housing and social policy agendas. Prior to joining the NCF, she was the CEO of Sitra, a leading national membership body championing excellence in housing, health, care and support.

Vic is the current chair of the Global Ageing Network and has worked extensively with international partners on key areas of innovation and change. She was chair of the Care Provider Alliance from September 2024 until September 2025. In addition, she was awarded an Hon. Professorship in Health Sciences by City University, working closely with the My Home Life programme and the wider University agenda around ageing and care. She was awarded an OBE for services to social care in 2021.

Michelle Corrigan

CEO, Digital Care Hub

Michelle Corrigan is the CEO of Digital Care Hub, where she leads national work at the intersection of cyber security, digital transformation, and adult social care. She is recognised for delivering large scale, high impact programmes that improve resilience, trust, and safety across complex systems. 

Michelle is the recipient of the Most Inspiring Woman in Cyber award and the NHS Cyber Leader award, reflecting her leadership in translating cyber strategy into practical change.

Alongside her executive role, she is Chair of Girls Friendly Society and a Trustee of Camphill Village Trust, contributing board level leadership focused on governance, inclusion, and long term sustainability.

Daniel Casson

Managing Director, Casson Consulting

Daniel Casson is an independent consultant specialising in digital transformation across health and social care. He helps providers, public bodies and technology companies apply practical innovation, with experience spanning digital strategy, DSCR adoption, data security and implementation.

His work focuses on prevention, integrated care and community-based models. He has authored national reports, co-chaired policy work and founded Care England’s Digital SIG. He directs the Care Perspective Series (sponsored by the Access Group), directs the LaingBuisson Social Care Summit and co-leads the AI in Social Care Alliance.

He is currently working on how AI & technology can drive value n social care for people who draw on care and support, for care workers, for care organisations and for the healthy and care system, drawing on earlier leadership roles in UK and international organisations. He is also a a governor of the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Thomas Tredinnick

CEO, Ally Cares

Thomas Tredinnick is the CEO and Co-Founder of Ally Cares, the UK’s leading evidence-based AI resident monitoring system helping care homes create calmer, safer, and more sleep-positive environments.

With a background in aerospace engineering, Thomas founded Ally after seeing first-hand the challenges care teams face when trying to balance safety with residents’ right to rest. His mission has been to harness technology to restore dignity at night — enabling residents to sleep without unnecessary disturbance while giving staff the confidence that support will be there when it’s genuinely needed.

Under Thomas’s leadership, Ally Cares has become central to national research on the relationship between sleep and wellbeing in care. Working with Care England, NHS partners, and ICBs, Ally has demonstrated how improved sleep directly drives better outcomes — from fewer falls and faster recovery to longer lengths of stay and stronger operational performance.

Homes using Ally report 50% more uninterrupted sleep, 63% fewer falls, and up to 30% more time for meaningful care — evidence that better nights lead to better days for both residents and teams.

Aaron Edwards

Senior Programme Manager, TEC Cymru

His work is primarily focused on digital migration, data, and the transition towards integrated Technology Enabled Care service models, supporting the evolution of more connected and sustainable care provision.

In addition to this, Aaron serves as a Board Member for Social Care Wales, where he contributes to national leadership across the sector. Social Care Wales is responsible for regulating the social care workforce, driving service improvement, and advancing data and research to enhance care and support for citizens.

Maxine Davies

Maxine leads and oversees Careiums UK business. Previously Head of Strategic Projects across the Careium group, Maxine has spent 3 years working through our business processes and efficiencies, transforming the company to meet our long-term goals and adapt to changes in the environment. Tom Morton

Founder, Archangel

Tom Morton is the Founder and Executive Chair of Archangel®, a systems and data integration platform operating across health, social care, and social housing. He is responsible for governance, strategic direction, and long-term value creation, ensuring the organisation remains aligned with real-world system needs while scaling responsibly within highly regulated environments. His leadership approach is shaped by contexts where clarity, accountability, and trust matter more than visibility, and he works closely with the executive team, investors, and sector partners to shape strategy and market focus, oversee governance, risk, and accountability, ensure the ethical use of data and technology, and maintain alignment between public purpose and commercial sustainability. Having established Archangel to address fragmentation across health, care, and housing systems, Tom remains closely involved in decisions with material implications for safety, regulation, trust, and system-wide impact. He brings a board-level perspective informed by direct exposure to frontline realities, public-sector constraints, and the grey areas that arise at the intersection of technology, responsibility, and vulnerability.

Deborah Rozansky

Director of Policy, Research and Information, SCIE

Deborah leads a team supporting improvements in social care through evidence generation, knowledge translation and policy influencing. Her experience includes conducting research studies and leading complex change programmes for government and the NHS, including recent initiatives in integrated care.

Deborah worked previously at the Office for Public Management, the Health Foundation and the Royal College of Nursing.

Earlier in her career, she worked for the Medicare and Medicaid healthcare programmes in the USA. Deborah was educated at Harvard University (AB, History) and UCLA (MSc, Public Health) and is currently studying for an MSc at Imperial College London (Healthcare and Design).

Angus Honeysett

Chair of techUK SCWG, and Market Development Director, Tunstall

Angus is a recognised leader in technology-enabled social care. He is passionate about using technology to improve outcomes, improving quality of life and reducing pressure on frontline services. He believes that when support is built around the needs of citizens, the wider health and care system benefits through better outcomes and more sustainable services.

Angus works at both policy and operational levels, helping to shape national strategy while supporting practical change across health, housing and social care. He focuses on how technology can make services easier to access, improve workforce efficiency, strengthen integration and make better use of data. A strong advocate for cultural change, he helps organisations embed digital solutions into new models of care. He has written and contributed to several national reports with partners including the County Councils Network, ADASS and the TEC Services Association, helping to build the case for government investment in digital social care.

He is Chair of techUK’s Social Care Working Group and a member of several national advisory groups, including DSCAG. A regular speaker on assistive technology and digital reform, and with a background in business management and accountancy, he brings strategic insight and financial expertise to his work - always focused on improving outcomes for citizens, carers and communities

Steven Peddie

CHIA for the Southwest Region and national CHIA for Digital Technology in Adult Social Care, PCH

A Social Worker by profession, Steve has worked in a wide variety of roles in local government over 40 years, including Executive Director roles for Adult Social Care, Children’s Services, Public Health and Housing.

Steve currently works for Partners in Care and Health (a partnership between the LGA and ADASS) as the regional Care and Health Improvement Advisor for the South West and he has the national leadership role around promoting digital technology for PCH. He is co-Chair of DSCAG – the Digital Social Care Advisory Group.

Steve is committed to close cross-organisational collaboration and championing innovation that helps people of all ages who draw on care and support, and their family carers, to have a life, not a service.

Steve is also Chair of Child Action Northwest – a charity primarily supporting children, young people and their families.

Gayle Curry is a commercial partner and leader of Mills & Reeve’s Health Tech practice, working at the forefront of innovation where technology transforms health and social care. With 25+ years’ experience, she helps health‑tech and life sciences businesses accelerate growth from safeguarding and commercialising IP to securing grant and VC funding, forging strategic collaborations, and bringing cutting‑edge digital, diagnostics, genomics and prevention‑focused solutions to market.

Known for her hands‑on, collaborative style, Gayle Curry is often embedded as a fractional general counsel, shaping client strategy and navigating complex regulatory, commercial and data‑driven challenges.
