As part of the Week of VocTech 2026 (https://weekofvoctech.co.uk/) techUK members are invited to join Ufi VocTech Trust and stakeholders from across the UK skills system for an afternoon of thought leadership, discussion, hands on demos and networking. Taking place at London’s CodeNode, the three events are focused on policy, investment and innovation in vocational technology, the tech helping adults gain and maintain the skills they need for work.

Across Europe and the US, skills systems are struggling to keep pace with rapidly shifting labour market demands, and young people are feeling the impact acutely. Employers are cutting early career roles while simultaneously expecting stronger practical capability, AI fluency and job readiness from new entrants. Traditional education pathways are failing to deliver the talent pipeline businesses need, leaving many young people without a clear or confident route into meaningful work.
Led by Ufi Ventures, this session brings together investors, founders and infrastructure operators to explore where innovation and capital can have the greatest impact, spotlighting the ventures and investable opportunities defining the fast evolving learning to work market segment.
