techUK’s Scottish Parliamentary Reception 2025

On the evening of 28 October, we will be hosting our first Scottish Parliamentary Reception to celebrate Scotland’s thriving tech sector.

The event will be hosted by Clare Adamson, MSP for Motherwell and Wishaw, and will take place from 18.00 – 20.00 in The Fleming Room.

Scotland’s tech sector employs over 80,000 people and contributes approximately £6bn to the economy. The reception, sponsored by Leidos, will bring together members from across the UK who are playing a role in both the sector, and the country’s, wider economic growth.

Ahead of the 2026 election, this is the ideal time for techUK members to engage with MSPs and other colleagues working in the industry.
