techUK & Guy’s and St Thomas’ roundtable on AI in health

The techUK Health and Social Care programme is working with the Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust to organise a roundtable for members on the use of AI for healthcare. The trust would like to hear from suppliers about the clinical, economic and operational challenges that they are facing when developing, selling and implementing products and services using AI across the NHS. The conversation will focus on evidence generation, piloting and scaling, and the trust would like to use it to understand what suppliers need from an NHS partner to help advance the space and ensure that we are working together collaboratively to deliver better outcomes for patients and staff.

We will be joined on the day by:

  • Adam Igra, Director of Innovation
  • Haris Shuaib, Head of Clinical Scientific Computing and London AI Transformation Lead
  • Dr Majid Kazmi, Consultant Haemato-Oncologist and Director of Research, Innovation, Digital and Commercial for Cancer & Surgery
  • Dr Emmanuelle Akinluyi, Chief Biomedical Engineer & Head of Clinical Engineering

The roundtable will be held under the Chatham House rule. Members are encouraged to come prepared to share feedback from their experiences and help inform the trust’s approach to working with suppliers in this space. Please note that there is a limited number of spaces available, and therefore, we will only be allowing one representative per company to join.

Members are invited to join a networking breakfast from 9:00, with the roundtable starting at 9:30 at techUK.
