NHSE are conducting a rapid review, between November- December 2023, into the Digital Technology Assessment Criteria framework, as commissioned by Dr Vin Diwakar, National Director for Transformation. The output of the review will be a report highlighting short, medium and long-term recommendations for DTAC.
To understand perspectives and experiences around DTAC, NHSE are holding roundtable sessions with industry and system stakeholders, creating an opportunity to share views and feed into recommendations. The session will last approximately 2-hours, to allow for sufficient time to cover the existing challenges and identify how they can be addressed moving forwards.
The aim of the work is to consider how the process can be as user-friendly and efficient as possible, reducing burden on the system and vendors and ultimately ensuring that safe innovations are adopted within the NHS, not to challenge the need or importance of DTAC.
This event will be best suited to colleagues with some expertise of DTAC. Only one representative per company will be able to attend.
