techUK is delighted to be partnering with the UK-ASEAN Business Council to hold a UK-Malaysia Roundtable with the Malaysian Minister of Communications and Digital H.E Fahmi Fadzil MP. The event will take place on 13th June, 9:30am-11:00am, in-person at St. Ermin's Hotel, Autograph Collection, 2 Caxton Street, London SW1H 0QW.
Attendees will include representatives from the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) which is an agency under the Ministry of Communications and Digital leading the digital transformation of the economy, as well as a host of Malaysian tech companies who are looking to collaborate with UK-based firms.
Following the UK’s accession into the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), Malaysia has become one of the most exciting and new markets for UK companies to export freely to. Malaysia’s fastest growing exports include tech hardware, digital, and cyber, and its growing technology markets are integrated with a range of external inputs from the UK, including investment capital and skilled people.
