Tech firms, like other businesses are being pressured to adopt ambitious climate strategies, and with several frameworks, acronyms and standards, it can be difficult to assess which one is most appropriate.

While techUK endorses the ‘Race to Zero’ approach, members need to exceed this and have concrete, measurable targets and one of our members (Ecologi) has created a new framework that can be of use. In this joint webinar we will cut through the complexity and provide members with a practical roadmap for your organisation to reach net-zero:

Reduce: Measure emissions, set science-based targets, and prioritise meaningful reductions across the value chain.

Restore: Take responsibility for the impact of unabated emissions by funding high-integrity climate and nature projects beyond the value chain.

Report: Disclose actions, progress and limitations transparently, enabling accountability and trust.

Who should attend?

  • Sustainability representatives from tech firms, particularly SMEs and scale-ups yet to set climate strategies.
  • Those looking into nature risk or use of offsets.
  • Companies operating in public sector markets where carbon reporting is increasingly mandated.
  • Regulatory, reporting and legal teams responsible for ‘ESG’ type disclosures

Key takeaways

  • What best practice looks like when it comes to climate action
  • How to measure and reduce emissions credibly
  • How to fund high-integrity climate restoration
  • Examples and case studies of how businesses have adopted Ecologi's 3Rs approach.
