Join techUK and the New Hospital Programme (NHP) for a high-level supplier engagement session exploring one of the largest and most ambitious infrastructure programmes currently underway in the UK. This event will provide suppliers with a strategic overview of the NHP’s vision, progress, and forthcoming opportunities as the programme moves into a critical phase of delivery.

The New Hospital Programme is leading a transformative series of next-generation hospital builds across England, including the development of seven RAAC replacement hospitals. As a centralised national programme, NHP is driving a consistent approach to hospital design, enabled through a common set of modern design principles and modern methods of construction (MMC). Suppliers will gain insight into how the programme is implementing a unified commercial and procurement strategy to unlock economies of scale, address supply chain risks, and accelerate delivery across all sites.

A key focus of this session will be Hospital 2.0, the NHP’s platform-based approach to designing and delivering the hospitals of the future. Building on this, the programme will outline emerging thinking on Intelligent Hospital Capabilities, and how digital, technology, and data-driven solutions will shape the operational efficiency, patient experience, and clinical outcomes in the next generation of NHS hospitals.

The NHP team will also set out their current ask of suppliers, including the opportunity to work collaboratively to develop robust cost and benefit baselines for Trust business cases and help define future digital capability requirements.

This briefing is an essential opportunity for suppliers across construction, digital health, technology, data, and innovation sectors to understand how they can support and contribute to the successful delivery of the UK’s future hospital infrastructure.
